Effective September 1, 2026. These rules help keep ADSGY Marketplace useful and safe for people across Guyana.
1. Our role
ADSGY provides a classifieds posting platform. ADSGY is not the seller, buyer, broker, agent, employer, or guarantor in any transaction arranged through the Marketplace.
2. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the truthfulness of your ad, your right to offer the item or service, the stated price, photographs, contact details, and compliance with the laws of Guyana. Do not impersonate another person or post misleading claims.
3. Prohibited listings
Do not post illegal or stolen goods, weapons, controlled drugs, scams, counterfeit goods, sexually explicit content, dangerous items, deceptive jobs, false investment offers, or anything that could harm another person. ADSGY may also refuse content that is abusive, discriminatory, duplicated, spammy, or unrelated to Guyana.
4. Review and enforcement
New and edited ads may be reviewed before publication. ADSGY may reject, edit, remove, suspend, or restrict listings and accounts when needed to protect users, follow the law, or enforce these rules.
5. Buy and sell safely
Verify the seller, item, ownership, condition, and price yourself. Meet in a safe public place when possible, tell someone where you are going, inspect before paying, keep transaction records, and never send a deposit or sensitive financial information to an unverified person.
6. No transaction guarantee
ADSGY does not inspect listings or guarantee identity, quality, availability, payment, delivery, employment, or the outcome of any buyer-seller communication. Use your own judgment and stop a transaction if anything feels suspicious.
7. Privacy
Marketplace account and listing information is handled under the ADSGY Privacy Policy. Do not publish passwords, banking credentials, identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information in an ad.

To report a suspicious ad, infringement, or safety concern, contact info@adsgy.com and include the listing link and a clear explanation.
