10 Commercial and Project Drivers Needed
These are contract workforce opportunities for qualified applicants who can support projects in Georgetown and other locations across Guyana. Applicants currently in Guyana and qualified overseas candidates, including skilled professionals from India, may submit their details for consideration.
Key Duties
- Operate trucks, tippers, buses, delivery vehicles or light project vehicles safely
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects promptly
- Follow assigned routes, site rules, delivery schedules and transport records
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant driving experience and a valid licence for the vehicle class
- Safe driving record, knowledge of vehicle checks and reliable attendance
- Experience on construction, logistics, mining or industrial projects is an advantage
- Verifiable work history and professional references
- Ability to attend an interview and complete practical, medical or document checks when required
- Professional conduct, teamwork and compliance with site safety rules
