10 Heavy Machinery Operators Needed
These are contract workforce opportunities for qualified applicants who can support projects in Georgetown and other locations across Guyana. Applicants currently in Guyana and qualified overseas candidates, including skilled professionals from India, may submit their details for consideration.
Key Duties
- Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, forklifts or cranes
- Perform pre-start inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
- Work accurately around ground crews, utilities, haul roads and active sites
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience on one or more types of heavy equipment
- Valid operator certification or licence where required
- Strong safety awareness and ability to complete a practical skills test
- Verifiable work history and professional references
- Ability to attend an interview and complete practical, medical or document checks when required
- Professional conduct, teamwork and compliance with site safety rules
