Selling furniture involves more than showing a good photograph. A buyer needs to know whether a sofa fits the room, whether a table has damage and how the item can be collected. Measure the furniture and describe its condition
Before opening the chat, measure the item’s width, depth and height. Give units with your measurements, such as centimetres or inches, and keep them consistent. For a sofa, wardrobe or large desk, explain if it can be dismantled when you know that for certain. Do not guess that it will fit through someone else’s doorway or into their vehicle.
Describe scratches, stains, loose parts, wear and repairs honestly. State whether the sale includes one item or a set, and identify the pieces included. If you know the material, provide it; if you are unsure whether a surface is solid wood or a wood-look finish, say so rather than presenting an assumption as fact.
Start the chat with several useful facts

Explain collection and delivery responsibility
State the general area where the furniture is available without publishing a private home address. Explain whether the buyer collects or whether you actually offer delivery. If delivery costs extra, clarify that rather than allowing the asking price to imply that transport is included.
For heavy items, mention known access constraints that affect collection. For example, you can state that an item is upstairs if that is true. Photograph the actual item

Check the furniture draft before sending it for review
Open Review and edit your listing. Check the title, factual description, condition, Home & Furniture category, town/location and GYD amount. Select Fixed, Negotiable or On call according to your offer. Confirm that the dimensions include their units and that chairs, cushions or other visible items are not described as included unless they really are.
Keep phone, optional WhatsApp and any requested contact email in their separate fields. Send unfinished conversation text before final submission so its details are included.
